Hatch's Partner Program rewards the creators we invite to bring their audiences to the platform. Two levels at most. Rewards paid from real membership fees.

Overview

How the Program Works

Simple idea. Plain rules.

Hatch is a creator platform. Creators build Nests with paid subscriptions, livestreaming, shops, events, posts, messaging and discovery. The Partner Program is a launch incentive that invites selected creators to bring their audiences to Hatch.

Hatch charges platform membership fees: Basic at $4.99/month for Audience Members, Premium at $19.99/month for Creators, and Premium+ at $39.99/month for Creators with livestreaming. Hatch pays Partner Rewards out of its own revenue from Basic membership fees only: 15% to the Partner who brings a member. A Partner who introduces another Partner also earns 5% on that Introduced Partner's members. On an Introduced Partner's members, the two rewards together take 20% of the fee. On a Partner's own members, that Partner earns 15% and nobody else is paid.

This is entirely separate from a creator's own subscription income from their Nest. Creators keep 90% of Nest subscription revenue and Hatch keeps 10%, under the Terms of Service. Nest subscription revenue is not part of this program. This program pays on platform membership fees only.

Web app only. Partner Rewards are calculated on membership fees collected through the Hatch web app only. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are excluded. Those transactions are governed by Apple's and Google's terms, and Hatch does not receive the full membership fee on them.

Important

What This Program Is

  • Free to join. There is no buy-in, no inventory and no minimum purchase.
  • Invite only. Hatch approves every Partner.
  • You earn only when members in your stack pay their monthly membership fee. Introducing someone earns nothing by itself.
  • If members stop paying, rewards on them stop.
  • The program has two levels and no more.
  • Earnings are not guaranteed. Hatch is a platform, not an income opportunity.
Rewards come only from paid memberships. If members in your stack never pay a membership fee, you earn $0.

Both rewards are paid in parallel from the same fees, and neither reduces the other. Total Partner Rewards on any member never exceed 20% of that member's fee, and the introducing Partner's share is always smaller than the Introduced Partner's.

Referral codes. Hatch generates each Partner's referral code automatically. Codes and the members attributed to them are tracked in Hatch's systems and shown to you in your dashboard as counts and amounts. Partners cannot create, edit, sell or transfer codes.

How Your Reward Is Calculated

Rewards are calculated monthly on fees actually collected.

Your reward is calculated monthly on the Basic membership fees actually collected from the Audience Members in your stack, through the web app only.

Example: an Introduced Partner's stack of 100 Audience Members

One fee, split. An Introduced Partner never takes 20%. For a member in an Introduced Partner's stack, a single $4.99 fee is split like this:

Your reward is based on that month's actual collected fees and updates monthly. If members cancel, your reward reduces. If new members join your stack, it increases. There is no guaranteed minimum.

How Rewards Step Down

Rewards step down as each member's tenure grows.

Your first payout is triggered 45 days after your join date, covering the first full month of rewards earned.

Full reward
You earn 15% (or 5% on an Introduced Partner's members) on membership fees in your stack. Paid by the 15th of each month.
Each member's months 13–24
75% of the rate
You earn 11.25% (or 3.75%) on that member's fees while they keep paying. If they cancel, the reward stops.
After a member's month 24
Program terms reviewed
Rewards beyond month 24 are subject to a new program agreement. Hatch will notify active Partners at least 60 days before with terms for continuation.

The clock for each member starts with that member's own first paid month, so a member who joins in your second year still earns you the full rate for their first 12 months. There is no snapshot.

Revenue Scope

What Counts Toward Your Reward

Platform membership fees only. Web app only.

  • Basic membership fees ($4.99/month, Audience Members) paid via the Hatch web app, counted once per Audience Member at their first sign-up. Rewards depend on new people joining Hatch through your code, not on how many Nests you run or how many Nests a member joins.

The following are explicitly excluded from Partner Rewards:

  • Creator membership fees: Premium ($19.99/month) and Premium+ ($39.99/month)
  • Any membership fee collected through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Creator subscription revenue from Nest subscribers (this belongs to the creator)
  • Tips, donations, or merchandise sales within Nests
  • Any one-time or add-on fees outside of monthly membership
  • A Partner's own membership fee, any fee Hatch waives, and the livestreaming portion of any fee, including any usage-based livestreaming charges
  • Any payment that is refunded or charged back
Why web app only? Apple and Google charge up to 30% on in-app purchases. Hatch cannot fund up to 20% in Partner Rewards from a transaction where Apple or Google has already taken 30%. Directing your members to sign up on the web app (hatch.social) ensures the full membership fee is collected and your reward is protected.

Membership

Your Membership While You're a Partner

Waived while you're active.

While you remain an active Partner in good standing, Hatch waives the platform membership fee for the $19.99 Premium plan on your account. This applies to every Partner.

Livestreaming is a package. Creators who are not Partners choose Premium ($19.99) or Premium+ ($39.99, which includes livestreaming). Partners keep the waived Premium plan and can buy the Livestreaming Package à la carte for $20 a month if they need it. The package is never required to participate or to earn Partner Rewards, and no reward is paid on it.

Livestreaming pricing. Hatch plans to move livestreaming to pricing based on usage. Before any change takes effect, Hatch will give at least 30 days' notice and show the new pricing in your dashboard. Basic and Premium stay flat monthly prices. Only livestreaming will move to usage-based pricing. The Complimentary Membership covers the $19.99 Premium plan only. It never covers livestreaming or its usage charges.

The waived membership is a promotional benefit. It is not a payment and does not depend on your earnings. It lasts only while you are an active Partner in good standing. If your participation ends, your account moves to the $19.99 Premium plan at the standard price, plus any livestreaming you have. Hatch will email you at least 30 days before your first charge.

Getting Paid

Payout Schedule

First check in 45 days. Then the 15th every month.

  • First payout: 45 days after your program start date, covering all rewards earned in your first full calendar month
  • Ongoing payouts: By the 15th of each month, covering the prior month's rewards
  • Method: Via Stripe Connect to your verified bank account
  • Minimum threshold: $25. Balances below this carry forward to the next month
  • Refunds and chargebacks: If a payment is refunded or charged back, the reward on it is reversed and may be offset against future payouts
  • Disputes: Must be raised in writing within 30 days of receiving your reward statement
  • Records: Hatch maintains earnings records for a minimum of 3 years
Monthly reward statements detail the membership revenue in your stack, reversals, your rate and your total payout. They show counts and amounts, not member names or contact details. Available in your dashboard and emailed on the 1st of each month.

Eligibility

Who Can Participate

To join the Hatch Partner Program you must:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Be invited by Hatch, or introduced by a Partner and approved by Hatch (an Introduced Partner)
  • Hold an active Hatch Creator account in good standing
  • Complete identity verification and tax documentation via Stripe Connect
  • Sign and return your individual Partner agreement
  • Agree to these Terms and all Hatch platform policies

An Introduced Partner cannot introduce other Partners.

You may not participate if you:

  • Have been previously suspended or banned from Hatch
  • Attempt to refer yourself, alternate accounts, or accounts you control
  • Misrepresent your identity, audience size, or community ownership
  • Operate in a jurisdiction where this type of program is prohibited by law

Conduct

How You Must Represent Hatch

  • Represent Hatch accurately. Do not make income claims, share earnings screenshots or projections, or overstate platform features or growth without Hatch's written approval
  • Do not use spam, unsolicited messaging, or deceptive tactics
  • Do not introduce anyone already attributed to another Partner without Hatch's prior written consent
  • Do not take payments for memberships off-platform to circumvent Hatch's payment system
  • Do not share confidential Hatch information, program terms, or reward rates beyond what is publicly published
  • Do not disparage Hatch, its platform, or other participants in public forums
  • Maintain at least one active Nest during any active program period
Violation of conduct rules may result in immediate program termination, forfeiture of unpaid rewards, and account suspension. You can appeal enforcement actions through Complaints & Appeals within 30 days, and EU and UK business users keep the rights in the Platform-to-Business Terms.

Disclosure

FTC Disclosure Requirement

When promoting Hatch in any public forum, including social media, blogs, podcasts, video, newsletters, or live events, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose your financial relationship with Hatch.

This requirement applies whether or not you include a referral link. If you're talking about Hatch and you earn from it, say so.

Acceptable disclosures include:

  • "I'm a Hatch Partner. I earn a reward when you join through my link"
  • #HatchPartner clearly visible in the post
  • A clear "paid partnership" or "affiliate" label in video or audio content

This requirement is governed by FTC Guidelines 16 CFR Part 255 (U.S.) and equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction, including the UK ASA and EU Directive 2005/29/EC.

Failure to disclose may result in program termination and potential personal liability under applicable advertising law.

Termination

Ending Your Participation

Your participation may end in three ways:

You choose to leave: Notify Hatch in writing at [email protected]. Deleting your account counts as leaving. You will receive all rewards earned through your exit date. Rewards after that date, your referral code and your Complimentary Membership end on that date.

Hatch terminates for cause: Immediate termination for fraud, conduct violations, or policy breaches. Unpaid rewards may be withheld pending review.

Hatch terminates without cause: 30 days' written notice. All rewards earned through the notice period will be paid in full.

Upon termination, your referral code is deactivated and the members in your stack are reassigned to Hatch. If a Partner leaves, the Partners they introduced remain Partners with Hatch, and no reward is paid to the departed Partner on their stacks after the exit date.

Tax

Your Tax Responsibilities

All Partner Program earnings are taxable income. You are responsible for:

  • Reporting your Hatch Partner earnings to your local tax authority
  • Providing a completed W-9 (U.S. persons) or W-8BEN (non-U.S. persons) before your first payout
  • Complying with local self-employment, business income, or VAT regulations

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in program structure, law, or platform policies. Active participants will be notified with a minimum of 30 days' written notice (15 days for EU and UK business users) before any material change takes effect. A change that lowers a rate does not apply to fees already collected. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
