Hey Creators!  We’re all about keeping things safe and fun here on Hatch Social.  That is why we have come up with some handy guidelines for content moderation.

  • Safety First: We have your back when it comes to keeping our communities safe and secure. All communities are to operate in a legal and lawful manner. Bottom line: if you are breaking the law, you are going to get removed at the platform level. If you need to report illegal behavior we have a smooth and easy reporting/response mechanism in place to ensure your safety.
  • No No’s and Yes Yes’s: Our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Community Guidelines have all the details about what’s allowed and what’s a big No-No. Give them a read and keep yourself informed.
  • Common Reasons for Removal: Let’s keep things light-hearted and steer clear of trouble. Here are some common reasons why humans and their content gets removed:
  • Age Mystery: If someone’s age can’t be verified as 16+, it’s a problem. Be sure to share your content responsibly.
  • Age Pretend: Yikes! We can’t have anyone pretending to be under 18, even in role play. Keep Keep it legal and appropriate. In the interest of keeping our most valuable youth safe, we will not play around in this area.
  • Legalities and Regions: Remember, what might be cool in one country or region could be totally illegal in another. Know the rules and respect the law.
  • Graphic Violence: Stay away from real blood or anything too violent or extreme. Let’s keep things light and enjoyable for everyone.
  • Sexual Content: This is not the platform for the creation, distribution or use of sexual content. This in a No-No and will set you up to Go-Go in a New York minute.
  • Public Decorum: Decency is not just for your dinner parties and office gatherings. There are other platforms that specialize in the tacky stuff. This one is not it.
  • Animal Limitations: Animals are loved here. Abuse will NOT be permitted.
  • Weapons and More: Let’s be safe and responsible. No real weapons, illegal drugs or objects used in unexpected ways. Keep it fun, not dangerous.

  • Appeal It! Mistakes happen, and if you believe you or your content was incorrectly moderated, we’ve got an appeal process just for you. Fill out our Deactivation Appeal Form, and we’ll work it out together.

Content moderation doesn’t have to be a big headache. With these simplified tips and a playful attitude, you’ll keep your Hatch Social account shining bright and your community loving every moment.
